Student iPads will often have an annoying pop-up window asking you to Update - please continue to tell your students to click on "remind me later." The updating process takes a long time and requires each iPad to be touched so it's not something we can do as soon as we want to. However - there are times when students will mistakenly click on "update now" - if that happens, you will get a white screen that says "Hello" and it asks for an apple id. I can't post the password here, but please check with me and I will send you the password.
We all have the ability to reset a student's network password if they have forgotten it. Just go to:
Shared\Groups\Staff\Student Password Reset A little box comes up asking for the username - which is the student id number. Then you set the password to the id number again. The student can then change it to a personal password again. |
